Recap: Traders Point Christian Knights vs. North Vermillion Falcons
The Traders Point Christian Knights were the 66-34 winner over the North Vermillion Falcons when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Traders Point Christian was the victim of a rough 70-49 defeat at the hands of North Vermillion on Friday. Traders Point Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Traders Point Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Andrew Hensley. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds. Joel Cook was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 10 rebounds.
Traders Point Christian has fallen quite a ways from their 18-7 record last season and are now at 1-2. As for North Vermillion, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Traders Point Christian will face off against Horizon Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Vermillion, they will head out on the road to face off against Dugger Union at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dugger Union is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
