While Cranford's  win against Bayonne wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the Bees  on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Cranford saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brayden Fry, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Cranford's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-9. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bayonne,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-11.
 Coming up, Cranford will square off against Middletown South at 10:00  a.m.  on Friday. As for Bayonne, they will face off against Eastern at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
