Volleyball Recap: Geneva Starts off Right with Win over Windermere Prep

Geneva gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Windermere Prep Lakers by a score of 3-1. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Lakers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Geneva had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will challenge Highlands Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Windermere Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Master's Academy at 6:30 p.m.
