Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Norman Wildcats vs. Davie County War Eagles + How To Watch

The Lake Norman Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Davie County War Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Norman will be strutting in after a win while Davie County will be coming in after a defeat.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Lake Norman and Hough, and Lake Norman kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Davie County came up short against Mooresville on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Davie County ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17.

Lake Norman's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15. As for Davie County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Lake Norman couldn't quite get it done against Davie County in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
