Softball Recap: Perry Central Comes Up Short

Perry Central couldn't beat Tell City on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Commodores fell just short of the Marksmen by a score of 10-9. The Commodores were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Marksmen earlier this season, when they won 17-4.

Perry Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Tell City, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry Central will take on Paoli at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tell City, they will square off against North Posey at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
