Basketball Recap: Chugiak Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Valley on Thursday, Chugiak came back down to earth. The Chugiak Mustangs were outmatched by the Wasilla Warriors and fell 52-9. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Chugiak now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Wasilla, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Chugiak will be playing in front of their home fans against Palmer at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wasilla, they will take on West Valley in a tournament on Saturday.
