Basketball Recap: Wendell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Aberdeen last Saturday, Wendell came back down to earth. The Wendell Trojans fell to the West Side Pirates 36-32.

West Side found their leader in freshman Bentley Cundick, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Wendell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for West Side, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Declo the next time they take the court. Wendell will host Declo at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while West Side will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
