Basketball Recap: Lake Mary Prep Takes a Loss

The match between the Lake Mary Prep Griffins and the Altamonte Christian Eagles didn't end well, with the Lake Mary Prep Griffins falling 64-47. The defeat continues a trend for the Griffins in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Marcel Ksiazek was nothing short of spectacular for Altamonte Christian: he made all 6 shots he took racking up 14 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. That's the most blocks Ksiazek has posted since back in November of 2024. Daniel Forde was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

Lake Mary Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Altamonte Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
