After a string of three wins, Bay's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers by a score of 2-1. The Tornadoes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Buccaneers earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Bay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eliott Richter, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Bay's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coming up, Bay will venture away from home to square off against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will host Chipley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
