Baseball Recap: High Tech SD Comes Up Short

High Tech SD fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Crawford on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Crawford Colts by a score of 6-5. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

High Tech SD got a good showing from Aadan Carbajal, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, High Tech SD saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nano Acevedo, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

High Tech SD's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Crawford, their record now sits at 2-0.

Looking ahead, High Tech SD will be playing in front of their home fans against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Crawford, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Calvin Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
