Soccer Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

Eastside's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Santa Fe Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Eastside of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Santa Fe, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-1-1 record this season.

Eastside and Santa Fe will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Rams see the pitch they'll take on Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Santa Fe, their break will end when they face Bell at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
