East Rankin Academy's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Park Place Christian Academy. The Patriots have beaten the Crusaders the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Crusaders has come to flipping the script.
Aiden Carlisle and Jordan Porter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Carlisle tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Porter pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero). At the plate, Carlisle went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run, while Porter scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave Porter a new career-high.

In other batting news, East Rankin Academy got a massive performance out of Will McGee, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave McGee a new career-high. Brayden Ingram was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

At the plate, Benjamin Kennedy was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Hendrix Magee, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Simpson Academy pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for East Rankin Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
