Football Game Preview: Ridge Point Panthers vs. Dawson Eagles + How To Watch

The Ridge Point Panthers will challenge the Dawson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridge Point will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Thursday, Ridge Point took their game with ease, bagging a 70-22 win over Fort Bend Austin. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

It was another big night for Brody Bartee, who threw for 279 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Those 279 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aiden Akins, who rushed for 70 yards and one score on only nine carries.

Meanwhile, Dawson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Friday. They took a 38-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Manvel.

Ridge Point will have to contain Corey Brown as he made an impact in Dawson's last game. He rushed for 43 yards and three TDs. Luke Brown helped out on the ground, rushing for 119 yards.

Dawson's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Ridge Point, their record is now 10-0.
