 After losing to the Iroquois West Raiders the last time they met, the Clifton Central Comets decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Clifton Central secured a  38-32 W over Iroquois West on Thursday. Despite the  win, that was the fewest points Clifton Central has scored all season.
 Leading Clifton Central to victory were  Blake Chandler and  Aidan Podowicz.  Chandler  scored 12 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals, while  Podowicz  scored seven points along with five  assists and two  steals. Podowicz has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last nine times he's  played.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Clifton Central and  bumps their season record up to 19-11. As for Iroquois West, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-19.
 Clifton Central will head out on the road to  take on  Bishop McNamara at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bishop McNamara knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Clifton Central likes a good challenge. Iroquois West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
