Basketball Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Parkview Vikings and fell 70-37.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Parkview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Coming up, Monroe is taking a road trip to face off against Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkview, they have already played their next matchup, a 69-39 defeat against Deerfield on the 6th.
