Basketball Recap: North Valley Christian Academy Takes a Loss

North Valley Christian Academy lost against Horizon Honors last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Valley Christian Academy Lions took a blow against the Horizon Honors Eagles, falling 65-17.

Audriana Anglada was her usual excellent self, going 10 for 15 from beyond the arc on her way to 32 points for Horizon Honors. Those 32 points gave Anglada a new career-high. Josie Barden was another key player, going 5 of 6 on her way to 12 points along with seven assists and three steals.

North Valley Christian Academy now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Horizon Honors, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

North Valley Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Horizon Honors, they will head out to challenge St. Johns at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
