Basketball Recap: Canyon Lake Takes a Loss

Canyon Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Davenport Wolves, falling 54-26. While losing is never fun, Canyon Lake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 751st, while Davenport is ranked 155th).

Canyon Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Davenport, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Canyon Lake nor Davenport have any future games scheduled.
