Soccer Game Preview: McCollum vs. Harlandale

McCollum hasn't had much luck against Harlandale recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cowboys will be playing at home against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. McCollum will be strutting in after a win while Harlandale will be coming in after a defeat.

McCollum's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over MacArthur. That's two games straight that McCollum have won by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Harlandale managed to keep up with Southwest Legacy until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Indians lost 4-0 to the Titans. Harlandale haven't had much luck with Southwest Legacy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The victory made it two in a row for McCollum and bumps their season record up to 8-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Harlandale, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
