Soccer Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett lost against DeWitt back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-0. While losing is never fun, Everett can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 270th, while DeWitt are ranked 76th).

This is the second loss in a row for Everett and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1. As for DeWitt, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-2.

Coming up, Everett will head out on the road to challenge East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for DeWitt, they will face off against Brighton at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
