Baseball Game Preview: Anthony Wildcats vs. Kermit Yellow Jackets

Anthony is 0-3 against Kermit since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Wildcats will host the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Anthony will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Tornillo, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Wildcats walked away with a 9-4 win over the Coyotes on Friday.

Anthony let Josue Moncayo and Diego Saucedo run wild. Moncayo scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Saucedo scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jesus Arteaga, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

Meanwhile, Kermit made easy work of Tornillo on Tuesday and carried off an 8-2 victory.

The win got Kermit back to even at 8-8. As for Anthony, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12-1.
