Softball Recap: Ludlowe Falcons vs. Manchester Red Hawks
With a playoff game on the line, Ludlowe rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Manchester Red Hawks onto the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering Ludlowe has won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lauren Foley was incredible, going 1-for-3 with a home run and five RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Mills, who went 1-for-2 with a triple, a stolen base, and two RBI.
The win was the fourth in a row for Ludlowe, bringing their record for this year to 19-5. As for Manchester, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
As of now, neither Ludlowe nor Manchester have any future games scheduled.
