            The Panther Valley Panthers will square off against the Pottsville Crimson Tide at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Having struggled with five  losses in a row, Panther Valley  turned things around against Mahanoy Area  on Monday. They skirted past the Golden Bears  8-6.
Meanwhile, Pottsville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with  an   11-6  win over the Cardinals.
Pottsville let  Landon Trout and  Alan Kushwarra run wild. Trout  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Kushwarra  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  Trout a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Harrison Ciavarella, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pottsville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. They are 2-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Pottsville's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Panther Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
