Soccer Recap: Acton-Boxborough Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Acton-Boxborough can now relate to. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors on Tuesday. Acton-Boxborough were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lincoln-Sudbury apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Acton-Boxborough now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3-1.

Acton-Boxborough does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, they will square off against Franklin on Monday.
