Softball Recap: Whitehall Zephyrs vs. Northampton Konkrete Kids

Whitehall suffered their closest loss since April 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Northampton Konkrete Kids by a score of 4-2. The Zephyrs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Konkrete Kids apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Morgan Laub spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
