Basketball Recap: Fredericksburg Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against The New Community School last Friday, Fredericksburg Academy came back down to earth. The Fredericksburg Academy Falcons came up short against the Tandem Friends Badgers on Wednesday, falling 55-35. The Falcons have struggled against the Badgers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Sincere Fordham was his usual excellent self, putting up 27 points for Tandem Friends. Amir Gregory was another key player, scoring 13 points.

Fredericksburg Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Tandem Friends, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Fredericksburg Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Quantico at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tandem Friends, they will venture away from home to challenge Wakefield School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Tandem Friends is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.
