Soccer Game Preview: Wilsonville vs. Centennial

The Wilsonville Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Centennial Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wilsonville is headed into the matchup having not lost since September 11 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts finished up their match with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Centennial's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against La Salle. The result (or lack thereof) marked Centennial's first draw of the season.

Centennial's draw makes their record 9-3-1 this season. As for Wilsonville, they moved theirs to 8-1-4.

Wilsonville skirted past Centennial 2-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2023. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
