Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Takes a Loss

Frontier Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Sci-Tech CyberCats, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Hawks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sci-Tech scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-19.

Tegan Dexter paced Frontier Regional's offense, picking up eight kills. Dexter got some help from Tavo Vincent-Warner and his 18 assists. Dexter was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Frontier Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Sci-Tech, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Frontier Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Central on the 2nd. Sci-Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
