Baseball Recap: Vienna Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Vienna, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Eldorado get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for Vienna in their matchups with Eldorado: they've now won three in a row.

Trace Moore was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Vienna: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 10-12 otherwise. Moore was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackson Ethridge, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Grady Waters also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The victory got Vienna back to even at 13-13. As for Eldorado, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
