Baseball Recap: Bolivar Takes a Loss

The Bolivar Liberators didn't have quite enough to beat the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks on Friday and fell 9-7. The Liberators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garretson Cook was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Remmer Carr, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Bolivar's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Pleasant Hill, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Bolivar will take on Nevada at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasant Hill, they will challenge Summit Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
