Baseball Recap: Cole Comes Up Short

Cole scored first but ultimately less than Brackenridge in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 12-1. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2016.

Cole saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Hanna, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. Joseph Zinnante was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Cole now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Brackenridge, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Cole will head out on the road to square off against Harlandale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brackenridge, they will take on Antonian Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
