Volleyball Recap: The Habersham School Takes a Loss

If The Habersham School was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Savannah Athletic Association on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the St. Vincent's Saints on Tuesday. The Patriots have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

Myla Shippy paced The Habersham School's offense, picking up nine kills. Shippy got some help from Abbey Zellner and her 12 assists. Brownette Olson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The Habersham School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, The Habersham School will take on Effingham County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Vincent's, they will head out on the road to face off against Glynn Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
