Washington Township had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Hammond Central on Tuesday. The Senators were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves. The win was nothing new for the Senators as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Washington Township's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hammond Central to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-4.

Ryan Brinkley paced Washington Township's offense, picking up 17 kills. Brinkley got some help from Aiden Armstrong and his 31 assists. Brinkley was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Washington Township pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Hammond Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
