Volleyball Recap: Horeb Christian Comes Up Short

Horeb Christian extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 16 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-12. They came up short against the Edison Private Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Edison Private, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Edison Private was led to victory by Gabriely Garcia and Valeria Cambar. Garcia had six aces, while Cambar had five aces. Those five aces gave Cambar a new career-high.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horeb Christian will welcome Calusa Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Edison Private, they will be playing at home against First Baptist Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
