Booker T. Washington entered their tilt with Escambia on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Everything went their way against the Escambia Gators as they made off with a 70-48 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-42 back in November of 2024.

David Dodson and Tae Gaston certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Dodson made all 6 shots he took racking up 19 points and three steals, while Gaston posted eight points along with ten boards and five blocks. Those 19 points gave Dodson a new career-high. Andre Umali was another key player, putting up six points.

Booker T. Washington is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Escambia, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
