Volleyball Recap: Emery Comes Up Short

Emery managed to slip by Redwood Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Emery Spartans lost 3-0 to the Redwood Christian Eagles on Wednesday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-12.

Emery's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Redwood Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Emery will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Pescadero at 5:00 p.m. on March 12th. As for Redwood Christian, they will welcome Contra Costa Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
