Timberlake Christian won the last time they faced Temple Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tornadoes walked away with a 3-1 win over the Crusaders.

Timberlake Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-15.

Grace Minor paced Timberlake Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Minor got some help from Siam Conway and her 32 assists. Conway was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Timberlake Christian has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Temple Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-10 record.
