Baseball Recap: Alhambra Comes Up Short

Alhambra lost against Benicia back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 4-3.

Alhambra saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Tran, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Alhambra has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Benicia, their record is now 15-8.

While Alhambra had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
