Baseball Recap: Delhi Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Delhi's offense. They fell just short of the Le Grand Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Hawks have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Delhi saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edgar Gonzalez, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Delhi now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Le Grand, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Delhi beat Le Grand by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.
