Volleyball Recap: Edmonds-Woodway Warriors vs. Everett Seagulls

Edmonds-Woodway lost against Everett back in October of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Seagulls, falling 3-0.

Edmonds-Woodway was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-17.

Everett was led to victory by Grace Regan-Bone and Ava Urbanozo. Regan-Bone had 14 digs, while Urbanozo had 38 assists and 12 digs. Urbanozo is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 21 or more in each of the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Ziarah Parker also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Edmonds-Woodway's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Everett, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
