San Ramon Valley took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Carondelet 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted against the Cougars since October 6, 2022.

San Ramon Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Carondelet into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-22, 21-25, 14-25, 15-11.

San Ramon Valley found their leader in freshman Maddyn Brown, who had 11 digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Colbie Albright, who had ten digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Amador Valley got the win against Livermore on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The win didn't come easy: Livermore scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-21.

San Ramon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Amador Valley, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
