Baseball Recap: Alpaugh Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tranquillity, Alpaugh was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Buffalos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Richard Luna spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

At the plate, Alpaugh got a massive performance out of David Loera, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with six stolen bases and two RBI. Uriel Perez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
