Volleyball Recap: Fossil Ridge Beats Denver South for Their Sixth Straight Win

Fossil Ridge had won five straight games and Victor Lenell did his part to make it six on Thursday. Everything went the Fossil Ridge SaberCats' way against the Denver South Ravens as the Fossil Ridge SaberCats made off with a 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Lenell, who had 12 digs and two assists. Those 12 digs gave him a new career-high.

While Fossil Ridge won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-15.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-2. As for Denver South, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Fossil Ridge will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Niwot at 6:30 p.m. on March 27th. As for Denver South, they will face off against Littleton Public Schools at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
