Soccer Game Preview: Gainesville vs. Springstead

The Gainesville Hurricanes will challenge the Springstead Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gainesville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They skirted past Lecanto 2-1.

Meanwhile, Springstead kept a clean sheet against Belleview on Thursday. They blew past the Rattlers 4-0. The result was nothing new for Springstead, who have now won 12 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Gainesville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six matchups. As for Springstead, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
