Basketball Recap: Seagoville Wins Going Away Against Memorial

Seagoville picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They strolled past the Memorial Mavericks with points to spare, taking the game 67-49.

It was another big night for Mason Maxfield, who shot 56% from the field en route to 35 points and three steals. Those 35 points gave him a new career-high. Adam West was another key player, going 6-for-11 on his way to 18 points and three steals.

Seagoville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points over those games. As for Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Seagoville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 85-59 defeat against Tascosa on the 26th. As for Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-37 loss against Krum on the 26th.
