Volleyball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science Comes Up Short

Carver High School of Engineering & Science was the 3-2 winner over Central when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. Carver High School of Engineering & Science fell 3-1 to Central on Friday. While Carver High School of Engineering & Science didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Central 25-20 in the first set.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-15, 25-21, 26-24.

Levi Mast paced Carver High School of Engineering & Science's offense, picking up 23 kills. Mast got some help from Masaki Dickerson and his 44 assists.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science and Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Carver High School of Engineering & Science sees the court they'll take on Academy at Palumbo at 3:15 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Central, their break will end when they face George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on the 22nd.
