It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Russell had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Fleming County Panthers as they made off with a 5-0 win. Considering Russell have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Fleming County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brylee Mullins (2), Gavin Grandinson, William Meadows, and Blaine Evans.

The victory (which was Russell's third in a row) raised their record to 15-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Fleming County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Russell didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Blazer on the 18th. Fleming County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
