Friday just wasn't the day for Hope's offense. They had to suffer through a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Ponaganset Chieftains. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Wave in their meetings with the Chieftains: they've now lost three in a row.

Hope's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ponaganset, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hope will venture away from home to face off against Exeter-West Greenwich/Prout at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Ponaganset, they will head out to take on Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
