Baseball Recap: South Plainfield Tigers vs. Spotswood Chargers
The South Plainfield Tigers came up short against the Spotswood Chargers on Saturday and fell 8-4.
South Plainfield got a good showing from Joe Stanzione, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Dan Kapsch was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Aiden McCarthy was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
