Football Recap: Dolgeville Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Dolgeville won the last time they faced Mt. Markham and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Devils took down the Mustangs 26-7. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Mustangs are ranked 369th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Dolgeville's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average over those games. As for Mt. Markham, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
