Volleyball Recap: Minnechaug Regional Comes Up Short

Minnechaug Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the West Springfield Terriers, falling 3-0. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Terriers from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Minnechaug Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for West Springfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

While Minnechaug Regional had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
